Souls of Mathematics

“1. The potential that existed at the beginning, or else in the ideal case. 2. The alternate imagination or the ideal that exists now. 3. The ability to predict and manifest possibilities.”
—The Triangle or Psychic Triangle by Nathan Coppedge
“Knowledge of limits.” —Isaac Newton
“The true figure of mathematics is strangely indefinite. If mathematics changes, it will require a great process. Some figures are real, and some less real: this describes the folly and potential of mathematics. If something is absolute, it is often very small, or else its potential would be unreal. There is nothing truly limiting for a real exponent. Limits, true limits, are something finite, and so the more mathematics we know, the more we go blind. The nature of mathematics, if it is beautiful, is no more than a strange blot of color in a field of blank space. The blank space is terrible, demonic, and destroys mathematics. If there is something more essential than mathematics for mathematics, it is an odd figure.”
—Paraphrase of Gödel

Decimille: Systematic Extension of the Decimal System

BASIC TERMINOLOGY

Pars: means a particular irrational number chosen to represent an aspect of decimille.

Systems Fragment: is a length of an irrational number which lies between the first digit and the second repetition of the number four in quadratic systems, five in pentallic systems, etc.

EXAMPLES OF APPLICATIONS OF DECIMILLE FOR SYSTEMOLOGY

Typical Example: Pi

3 = Macro-importance of exceptions (represented by the number '3').

1 = Micro-importance of unity / geometry (represented by the number '1').

4 = Micro-importance of quadratics (represented by the number '4').

1 = Un-parsability of quadratics (repetition of unity over quadratics, represented by the number '1').

5 = Micro-importance of dimensions beyond 4, e.g. to parse the number '4'.

9 = Micro-importance of the decimal parsal of '1' via the decimal limit of '1'.

2 = Micro-importance of set-theory represented by the number '2'.

6 = Micro-importance of dimensions greater than '5' e.g. to explain the 5th dimension.

5 = Un-parsability of pentallics (represented by the repetition of the number '5').

4 = Exceptional un-parsability or arbitrary semantics of quadratics, represented by the second repetition of the number '4'.

Less Typical: e

2 = Macro-importance of set-theory.

7 = Micro-importance of unsolvability.

1 = Micro-importance of geometry for unsolvability.

8 = Micro-importance of the 8th dimension for solvability.

2 = Un-parsability of set-theory.

So, the string 3141592654 is a decimille system derived from pi, shown above.

The string 27182 is a decimille system derived from e, shown above.

Basically, these are numbers which appear in matrixes which signify mathematical relations to proof theory and its limits.

PUZZLE-PIECES OF MATHEMATICS, VERSION 1.5

Variables are the atomism of history.

Every formalism eclipses a new dimension.

Dimensions are modular, and other archetypes.

Math is merely one type of formalism.

Theories exist in 'open space'.

Every idea is its own kind of system.

HOW TO DO MATHEMATICS WITHOUT DOING MATHEMATICS

Predicate calculus can be pretty limiting.

Take everything you know (maybe infinity), and think again!

Variable Calculus or Object-Oriented Ontology?

You may not believe me, but the If-and-only-If (IFF) operator means essence in object-oriented ontology. Some object-oriented ontologists may even have forgotten that.

But I'll tell you why it's true. For one thing, object-oriented ontology is not necessarily the terminology you need to describe it. In fact, I'm only throwing object-oriented ontologists into this because I think they're the most likely to have discovered this property already. Other highly likely contenders are Alfred North Whitehead and Bertrand Russell (the two authors of Principia Mathematica, as opposed to Newton's, which is titled simply, The Principia), and Karl Popper and Saul Kripke, both of whom have written numerous books on logic.

The series of points I wish to illustrate have to do with implicit categoric relations.

These relations can take place on a systemic, logical, or qualia basis. (In a non-variable sense the relations would be viewed more universally as system, mode, or value, where value can mean an abbreviation of an entire belief system, and mode can mean something existential).

Typically it is the systems that are original, whereas it is the qualia that are demonstrative. The logical level is arbitrary in the sense that multiple solutions are possible, and it avoids ambiguity through definitional quantification.

Now, the key element to deal with is an individual category, because it relates with all three levels simultaneously (qualific, logical, and systemic).

The key question is, 'What does a variable mean?' in relation to those three things, and I think I have found an answer. And there is a possibility that this work has been done before, without my realizing it. That is why I mentioned the other people before.

However, if my system in general is as unique as I tend to believe it is, then there is no reason to believe these other figures have dealt with the same observations, because they were not observing the same system...

On the qualia level, a category is an IFF (If-and-only-if) relation. That is, what is meant by a variable is little more than an indefinite relation. Sense-data, however irrational, is what fills in the gaps in information. And it requires the rational faculty to declare that there is justice to the information. Enough of that!

But, the IFF relation remains the way to engage with qualia data.

Logical relations on the other hand, occur through summation, and require additional analogies (such as assumptions or mathematics) to register an interpretation.

In terms of sense-data, logic consists of a summation of indefinite relations. Where the logic cannot be adduced to summation itself, some sort of correlative logic must be attached to ascribe meaning. The most common of these is a meaningful theory, such as a loaded assumption.

A system, then, tends to obey one of the following descriptions, and the same is true for systemic variables:

1. A pattern in data (a pattern amongst loaded assumptions), that is, a logic applied to a bad thesis.
2. In terms of sense-data, a summation of indefinite relations, that is, logic purum, and,
3. A summation and/or analogy based on the previous, that is, logic applied to logic.

Thus, 1/3 may be deemed incorrect, 1/3 may be deemed unprovable, and 1/3 may be deemed exponential.

That's what I have recently discovered about true variables.

Exceptions to the above may include variables which are not only non-qualified, but non-logical, and non-systematic.

Progress in Mathematics: Trans-Finite Primer Part II.

I think I found a math system where 0/0 actually equals zero, unlike the current system, where it equals 1, and then divided by zero again, equals infinity, etc.

Mathematicians treat this as a simple conventionality, but it is a large thing to overlook, in my opinion.

In the new theory, 1 / infinity = infinity / 1 as usual (I think), since infinity = infinity = infinity...

However, 2 infinity would equal 0, as well as all other even numbered infinities.

The result is a system in which 2 infinity / 2 infinity = 0 instead of 1.

However, all the other discrepancies appear to be overcome, with the possible exception that there is a kind of quantum flux or uncertainty to the process of counting infinities...

I have used my variation on trans-finite numbers to calculate the types of deductions possible in larger category sets. The following matrix is produced for the first three charts of modulus 4 (some of the values are left unsolved as I have heard is common with trans-finites).

A = infinity,  1/infinity,  3 infinity,  1 / 3 infinity
BCD = 3 infinity, 1/3infinity, (1 inf. + 2 inf. = ) infinity, 1/ infinity
[-------------------------------------------------------]
ABCD = 4 infinity, 1/ 4 infinity, 12 infinity, 1 / 12 infinity
EFGHIJKLMNOP = 12 infinity, 1/12 infinity, ( (4/infinity) * inf. ^2)=) 4 infinity, 1/4 infinity
[-------------------------------------------------------]
{1 to 16} = 16 infinity, 1/16 infinity, 48 infinity, 1/48 infinity
{17 to 64} = 48 infinity, 1/48 infinity, (((4/inf. * 4/inf) inf. ^2) =) 16 inf., (1/1/2inf. =) 1/16 inf.

The point being that 2 infinity from the first square results in 2 deductions, the 2 or sixteen infinity from the second square results in sixteen parts split over a duality, and the end result of (4 (4 / inf. * 4 / inf. ) inf ^ 2 = 4) for the third square results in four minimal deductions for the sixty-four square diagram, again split into dualities.

New Page Summarizing Critical Sources of Dimensionism

This page accommodates quotes by intellectuals on the subject of dimensionism, a movement begun in Hungary around 1935, and which has received a number of recent encyclopedia volumes by myself. It may be seen as including subjects as vast and broad as the art of M.C. Escher, aspects of the work of Jean Baudrillard, Hyper-Cubist artwork, and Nathan Coppedge's writings about objective knowledge. Until recently, dimensionism has been fairly obscure. Even now, the majority of searches related to dimensionism appear to relate to theories of specific dimensions, such as the second dimension and third dimension. These 'movements' alienate the broad category of the central subject, risking that dimensional knowledge be overtaken by theories of deconstructive mathematics. Specialization has a good purpose in that it heightens awareness of the specific perspectives of each dimension, but has the shortcoming that it overclouds general theories, including coherent dimensions:

Here is the page I was referring to, including quotes about dimensionism:

I feel I may have found a faster solution to Pi

Updated with corrections. As re-posted from M-Phi (Mathematical Philosophy Blog, run by mathematical philosophers):

It turns out if I take (((10e) (pi - 1) *X) / 2) this produces some differences in sequence near the decimal point, but if I then * (e / pi) the result is an interesting number:

25.18523247...

As it turns out, the first two digits are 5 * 5, which I call an irrational factorization of 1 * 10. The second two digits are equal to 2 * 9, the fifth and sixth digits are a straight irrational factorization, the seventh and eight digits are 4 * 7, skipping one level of irrational factorization. The ninth and tenth digits are 4 and 7, as if the series represents a factorization in process, in other words, a simplified version of the earlier irrational factorization process. My expectation is that the numbers that follow are always a simplified form of the same process that has occurred for these earlier numbers. Maybe that is simplistic, but finding this kind of set with factors of pi is unusual.

Earlier I was more excited, because I had mistakenly thought that 32 was 3 * 8. However, the explanation that 32 skips one level of factorization may be rationalizable through some other way.

It would be interesting to get feedback on whether I have found a way to generally exploit the decimal system or predict decimals of pi, since at no point did I divide e out of the system, and I suspect pi is still present as a factor of some kind.

Introverted Developments / Private Projects

Immortal Poems is one of my slowest projects. I have about two or three (different from the Poems by God, because of subject matter). The emphasis for these pieces is realism and fulfilling the pieces-in-puzzle mentality in the quest or psychic prophecy of immortality, making them more difficult to write. The simple explanation is that they are more rare, and therefore more difficult to locate in my mind.

My Theses project, which inspired the 1-Page-Classics, is slowing down, although I have created three new folders showing further degrees of Theses, following different forms of standardization. These new folders do not have 1,600, but instead, 5 to 50 so far. Mostly titles, as before. Theses 2 has creative essay-type material, for example: "A Platform and Popularity: How to Market Recursive Typology" and "Place of Flowers: Bulbs of Power and Stamens of Knowledge." Theses 3 has pieces that fit the new classics standard, which is hard to describe. One example is "Salt of Peter" and another is "Terrestrians." Theses 4 has only elements which forgive a secret of the universe. Presently only "The Dance in the Ether," a piece which gives a kind of etherized feeling.

I have a project called The Footnotes which consists of diagrams (mostly flow-charts) which interpolate intellectual developments throughout history, and sometimes into the future.

I have another project called Old Ones that I may or may not publish, about cute sayings that I attribute to my unborn children.

The Dimensional Encyclopedia is in the process of developing. It is likely that I will eventually publish at a faster rate than one per year. The second volume is complete but won't be published until I receive my Kirkus review. I have intentionally put some challenging subjects along the path (phenomenology, mathematics) to keep the productivity even.
