On Reincarnation

I'm an animistic rationalist about reincarnation.

I think people with a history of consciousness are more likely to be reincarnated.

However, it requires rational input to attract a future life. Over-thinking it is not necessarily helpful.

Paradigms may be gained or lost.

Karma is a factor, but not the biggest factor for appearances.

Intellectual development is important for intellectuals.

With sufficient mental development, it is unlikely that one will become an animal unless one is careless and wishes for it.

At a complex level, one must be honest enough to know what one is saying to the universe, because if one is insincere it is more likely that something random will happen to you.

Having no deep, sincere, honest opinion is like conceding to the worst.

Statements of the Reincarnation of Aaron Burr

"I remember myself as a British spy. When I was young I was in England, and I was elected to go on a spy mission. My original name was Todd Oxbridge. It was my interest in spy craft that pulled me into military conflicts and service in the military."

"One of my fondest possessions was a picture of Mary Wollstonecraft that I hung over the mantle piece. Even now, the memory of her makes me cry."

Statement of the Reincarnation of Marie Antoinette

"One story that carried through my entire life was the idea of a patio. When I was a teenage woman, I had a fling with a man who said he owned the tallest building in France. Later I was disappointed that Versailles did not claim to be so tall. I joked with the king that perhaps we should put some guns up on top of the roof."

"One other thing is quite memorable. Towards the close of the revolution we were out of firewood, and I was shivering under the covers with the king. I told him that what he had said sounded like natural philosophy. This is perhaps the most 'modern' thing I have ever said, even in the years afterwards, which appeared to be more modern in time."

Statements from the Reincarnation of One of the Burners of Alexandria

"I remember when someone said 'Lo, the phoenix burns'. It was the most emotional thing that had ever happened to me. I was taught by those flames to love what was left of my life".

"I had the name Orchayrae. It was an unlucky name. It meant, 'Suppose there isn't magic' or 'Do some alchemy' ".

Statements from the Chinese God Zheng Guo (Kuo Kwang)

"Some people remember me as the inventor of Kung-Fu. They don't know that I was washed in the river by a woman. They don't know that I invented Bushido, too. It is the same martial art, only with a worse name."

"What I remember is the time I used the power from the dead sorcerer to make a flower wilt. The children couldn't believe the miracle in front of their eyes. They wanted me to repeat it again and again. But I said no."

"There was another time where I became invisible. And the people don't know the limitation of the god. I didn't know how to change back. My friend told me to see a prostitute to cure the spell."

Statements of a Reincarnated Urchin of Ur

"My death was the purest thing I knew in the world: all because of one sword".

"My legacy is that I once escaped the snares of fate".
