BOOKS: PENDING EARLY RELEASES

The Dimensional Spell-Casting Toolkit, AVAILABLE NOW!
The Dimensional Immortality Toolkit (being corrected) and
The Dimensional Time-Travel Toolkit AVAILABLE NOW!

PLANS HAVE CHANGED!

ALL THREE OF THESE TITLES WILL BE RELEASED VERY SOON!

Here are the cover images. Look on Amazon in the next few days, and the titles should be available! Just a surprise, in case anyone was excited already! Don't worry, in their current condition each book is well over 120 pages. More precisely 180 - 266. I may add additional content later, but I've decided some of it may be unessential.

LOOK INTO THEM! THEY ARE GOOD BOOKS!

Over 100 Books Sold!

I have reached a new pinnacle of performance: I have sold 100 copies of my books this year! That counts e-book editions and text editions of over 30 titles, some of which have not yet sold.

It's too early to say,

but I may have a deal with B&N.

I sent materials to their office in New York, and just now got a response saying that they plan to stock my books via a service called Lightning Source.

Although the message was kind of meandering, it did say that B&N would "stock my books."

So that's probably a good sign.

It's still possible that they will not be present on bookshelves, but only available for order.

Not immediately, but presumably before December.

Tentative News and Disappointing Sales

I posted at Bill Gates' Twitter account. I know there must usually be counter-measures or something. Some of my ideas seem high-profile to me, so I try to push them around.

Meanwhile, I haven't had a book sale since May 16th.

I'm looking for interested readers for my Dimensional Philosopher's Toolkit, 1-Page-Classics, and Creeping Cadence (three different books).

All available on Amazon.

Occasional Quotidian Post

Thinking of switching to Amazon publishing with Create Space for my two forthcoming books.

Those books are The Dimensional Psychologist's Toolkit (2014) and the Tractatus in Couplets.

Since Amazon is cheaper I can pay for a Kirkus (objective) review to supplement marketing.

The Tractatus in Couplets will receive no review unless I find a major source of income in the next few years.

If I have a low period in book production, I will spend extra money on reviewing the first volume of my encyclopedia---The Dimensional Philosopher's Toolkit, which has already been published with Authorhouse. But my hope is that the reviews I have arranged for free this year will pay off as a recommendation to stock the first volume at Barnes & Noble bookstores. I'm not sure about that yet, but it would be great if it worked.

Other Dimensional Toolkits

Prospectively, I've begun to consider writing other full-length texts along the themes of dimensionism and knowledge toolkits. As posted on my Amazon author profile, I've begun to write a Psychologist's Toolkit in an attempt to apply dimensional principles to a wider discipline. While some would call dimensional thought superficial by comparison to the deep thoughts of psychology and inter-personal dynamics, I have hopes that some of the gleanings about typology and knowledge may find a foundation in psychic and social-context studies as well. I have already designed the cover, but of course marketing this one without a PhD in psychology may be more hallucination than reality.

Other books in this series may follow, but for now it looks like the most interest has been attracted to the first of the series, The Dimensional Philosopher's Toolkit. It is not yet released, but is scheduled to be published in early 2013.

I've also had thoughts of writing a novel, but my instinct is that the longer I wait the better. It's already been seven years since I've written a quantity of poetry (with the exception of a number of sonnets that were casually formulated, each upon the last); they say the more distance between novels and poetry the better. My ambition, however, is to combine themes from both, by using aphorisms.

1-Page-Classics

Author: Nathan Coppedge

Book Description:

1-Page-Classics is written by a dimensional philosopher. It includes renditions of mysteries and philosophies ranging from the Tao Te Ching, to the Orphic Mysteries, Mandate of Heaven, and the nature of Ambergris. It also has literary merits through the author’s interesting accounts of prior lives as Rip Van Winkle, the Burner of Alexandria, and Pippin son of William Tell. Valuable for its eclectics, it is also valuable for its philosophical accounts of Modal Realism, Wittgenstein’s Tractatus, and the stoic manual The Enchiridion; Topics are chosen for their integrity as well as broadness; there is even a translation of Simone d’ Beauvoir’s The Second Sex; The author also takes a unique viewpoint on topics ranging from Archeology to Mathematics, with many of his works having original intellectual merits. The book includes potential study packages such as Cultures, Logic, and Miniature Linguistic Treatises. It also includes writings on the subject of Wonders of the World and Signs of the Zodiac; Compact, complex, and alphabetized, calling this book intellectual would be an understatement, but it has value as pleasure reading too.

Book News

I gave my approval for the cover and text layout of my book.

1-Page-Classics

It will be featured on Amazon by May 14th.
