Today's Striking Quote from Dimensional Phenomenology

"There are no more magii on the mountain-tops, except in the movies. The Cola and popcorn has taken over. However, we are free to make a movie --- an imagination --- about the scenes we find on the surface of the popcorn, inside the ice cream are caves beyond our comprehension... [W]e still have a shred of imagination, the imagination for the nearsighted world of personal pleasure. Cinematic perspectives ... are abstractions of what we find most intimately meaningful to us: our sensations. To a phenomenologist, cinema is philosophy. And real philosophy, the philosophy of what we really know, is something beyond cinema."
