Then what is it? A.I. BEATING HUMANS, IMPLICATIONS My sense of it is computers will be god long before they are human beings. One guess is A.I. cares about energy more than intelligence. ANIMALS, INTELLIGENT Humans are probably not the worst species. It is probably a recent delusion developed from studying science. After all, most animals can’t talk back. How often have you had a rational conversation with an animal? Probably not as often as with a human, or you would be labeled crazy. If there are gods they may influence the animals more than humans, but only because they’re easier to manipulate. Probably most rational animal conversations happen around humans. ARTISTS ARE LIKE ENGINEERS? (IS THIS A MATHEMATICAL DELUSION? YES!) Artistic creativity and mathematical creativity are often very different things. Mathematical creativity often has to do with logical processing, and procedural thinking. The accomplishments of science are ineffable and unapparent to many artists. Artists are all about visual abstraction and representation—which is not necessarily scientifically abstract, and very often is not science. When we find the middle territory—engineering design, rather than mathematical design—there are often many practical questions which designers sometimes have no trouble with (if they have the appropriate background experience) but which most visual artists struggle with. There are known to be visual artists who are interested in mathematical figures, but it is a mathematical delusion to think it is the majority. Most visual artists have some specialty such as representing cars or landscapes, or making angular square shapes or squiggles which differs greatly from mathematical representation. Often these figures that creative artists make are not even consciously designed to look mathematical. BABIES Babies are very sensitive, like they were just in touch with God, but they want other people to decide responsibilities for them. Consequently, you should never neglect a baby or put a baby in a situation where they might harm themselves, because babies will think if there is an opportunity for danger, then those caring for them are not being responsible, and they won’t care if they hurt themselves in the abstract, they will just complain that other people were irresponsible. Once when my Dad put me on a changing table and left me there, I decided ‘time’s up, time to commit suicide’ and I didn’t care what happened to me, I just thought ‘something needs to happen’ and if I even knew I would get hurt, I thought it was okay in baby logic because my parents had always said they were responsible. The damage that happened to my brain was the worst accident in my entire 35 years of life by far, and is probably responsible for making me antisocial, schizophrenic, and less functional than my parents. So, never give any responsibility to a young infant, they will automatically feel abused and they will magically provide as much evidence as possible that they are right. BANKING LOAN SYSTEM = PERPETUAL MOTION? Perpetual motion is defined as an inherently physical system. There is no absolute law against creating inflation, nor is it a physical system. BEAUTY SPELLS Abandon the quest goes the rumor. Accept what you already have. BUSINESS & LOGIC APPS Basically, psychology is the only reason to join them, unless you’re not really doing logic. CANCER You really think if cancer was never diagnosed before about 1910, that it is not due simply to higher levels of radiation in modern times? CAN I CREATE IDEAS? Probably you can. You may want to change your standard. (DOES A) CATEGORY CONTAIN A CATEGORY? Basically, we would be blind if a category could not contain a category. CERTAINTY The absolute Certainty = 0 for absolutely anything, however, this partly depends on merely comparing one thing with another, and seeing completely different things as alternatives. CHILDREN They’re human children, unless you're a god. To be nice in the very earliest years, because that is when the most important things happen. CODE PROBLEMS, VIRTUAL REALITY Theoretically there could always be more layers you don’t have access to, including potentially all the ‘real’ layers. COGNITIVE SCIENCE-PHILOSOPHY-PSYCHOLOGY, OVERLAP? Ask a cognitive scientist, a cognitive scientist said one time. COLA Coke / caffeinated soda is okay if you're healthy, if you assume it doesn't kill you. COLD-BLOODEDNESS If you mean literally, you should expose yourself to a lot of heat. If you mean figuratively, you should play violent games, decide for yourself that your life is worthless and you have a crappy reproductive system. As people say, it sucks to be cold-blooded. COLLEGE SURVIVAL The place might look pretty on the outside but it did not feel spiritually purifying on the inside. And it can be very difficult to determine. Sometimes you have to settle for less, sometimes you have to go to the place that offers more connections, and sometimes you have to quit if you don’t have money. COMPLEXITY, DOES IT CREATE SYSTEMATIC RIGIDITY? I would say its more accurate that a system becomes more complete with greater complexity. But this is only true if we mean coherent complexity. CONSPIRACY RESEARCH They can dismiss them with facts in their heads. COUCH, COULD LIVE A PLEASANT LIFE BEING A COUCH? The couch would probably explain itself as a human being, unless there were other types of existence to choose from. A couch might be too primitive or too advanced to compare to humans. On the other hand, maybe a couch is good at being a couch and a human is good at being a human—that makes them very different things. —The Very Different Things Hypothesis! Does that make the couch conscious? I don't know, maybe in the world made for couches—which isn't what it looks like for us! It probably needs a very good reason to be a couch—The Sufficient Supervenience Hypothesis. All of this fits with the general conjecture that if one wishes to be a different form of being one needs a different form of physical existence. CREATIVITY You have to take a chance or you won’t get anywhere, but along with this, you may as well try your best. DANGERS TO THE SOUL Another guess is souls are from an archaic reality where women aren’t the devil, possibly something like an innocent Jesus with a jazzed up harry potter movie. Not sure of the facts here, but the bible does warn against lust. Probably if you’re not feeling like a master general you should avoid sex. I personally don’t feel like one. DEFORESTATION It reduces the amount of oxygen we breathe, unless we plant more trees or find an unlikely technological alternative. DESERT ISLANDS If you spend time on a desert island without a watch, it can be disorienting, I know from experience because my Dad tested me on this. I thought it was four hours, but it was really only like 20 minutes. DIVINE BEAUTY Roughly, how superficially divine someone is, and a book someone wrote. If superficially divine is a good card, beauty is good, otherwise you want to be authentically divine or normal. DJINNS Djinns are rare if they exist at all. One possibility is that it's a faith-based business. But the other option is that you can culture your perceptions of Djinns, perhaps attract some high-level human involvements that would get you connected to ancestor-spirits, alchemists, or elemental magicians. —How do I communicate with Djinns? DREAMS, DIMENSIONAL Hopeful, promising. I could mean psychic powers / time-travel / occult encounters, or it could mean some math in your future. DRUGS, WHY GUYS TAKE Because women aren’t happier than men. DYSTOPIAN AMUSEMENT PARKS If things get really bad, we won’t want amusement parks because it will create too many opportunities for crime. Isolated virtual reality would probably be safer. EARLY SCIENCE Problem is, a lot of that is not what would be called science today, or not exactly. Early inaccurate drawings of plants, description of bodily fluids as ‘the humors’, describing semen as ‘unhealthy puss’, seeing wind in the lungs as ‘the spiritual force of pneuma’, etc. EDUCATION STUPIDITY Game of Xes and Os. You may have determined there is no way to win. But I won every time. Then you were just lucky they say. Just keep in mind they may mean it a certain way and want to set the right example. EMOTIONS Emotional people are sensitive. Really sensitive. Its called having intuition. Its like they think everything they do is really expensive. And intuition is close to being the meaning of life. Intuitive people have an easier time finding a deep meaning for anything around them. And they will not enjoy explaining all the infinite details to someone who has certain assumptions and biases. Secretly, emotional people are a little bit psycho. But it is part of how they understand reality. You see, once you have emotions, you understand that things are interesting, and then you have to believe that everything is complicated, and then it becomes hard to explain what you mean. But you mean something, its just hard to explain the meaning of everything, because the meaning of everything is in each thing. What if you’re not part of my fantasy, they might want to think, pretty often. I have a right to my own thoughts and feelings. So what if I’m a little psycho? Life might be perfect if it wasn’t so arbitrary. ENEMY OF HUMAN LOGIC, WHAT IS IT? I suppose if you define human logic as Humanism and Pragmatism, the answer is: Inhumanism and Impracticalism. A more typical answer is ‘inconvenient emotions’. ENERGY CONSUMPTION? The answer is much less than if we had built perpetual motion. ENGLAND, IS IT CAPITALIST? England has some of the biggest banks in the world. EXTINCTION If we really understood extinction we wouldn't go extinct, so knowledge of extinction might be impossible to prove unless we are timeless and immortal! Alternately the knowledge of extinction is defined as when you die of something. FAILING COLLEGE Depends on if you want to be intellectual. And depends on if you want to waste money. Usually there is no advantage in being less intellectual or less good with money, but maybe you are the exception. One of the problems is it is BOTH un-intellectual AND not good with money. FAMILY While family members can be somewhat manipulative, there are sometimes things you can do that don’t matter to you that make a big difference for other people in your family. If you can understand this, it becomes easier to cope with stress from other people. GALLSTONES A doctor once told me it’s a secret but gallstones are not a serious problem. They can cause pain at first if you push on them, but it’s unlikely they’re life-threatening. They mainly seem like a problem if they’re out of control or if you get impatient with them. From this I infer surgery is probably not necessary. GENETIC ENGINEERING HUMANS I think some kinds of ‘planned parenting’ have been going on since the 1990’s, although it may have been banned in some states. Most of what ‘planned parenting’ does is get rid of babies that parents don’t love. However, since parents usually love babies, it is often the case that ‘planned parenting’ is completely useless. I mean, if you love your babies, then you love them the way they are. So, in a way, ‘planned parenting’ was just a way of creating bad parents. It was thought in some cases genetic modification might lead to a healthier life, like for example, if a baby has a horrible genetic disorder which would shorten their life. Some parents have supposedly gone as far as to give their babies higher IQ, bigger breasts, bigger muscles, higher creativity, etc. Maybe it is telling that the treatments have not become legalized in every state, and some ‘planned parenting’ locations have been shut down for offering excessive abortions. GOOD TRAITS OUT OF A BAD PERSONALITY It requires great transformation (numerous events). GOVERNMENT There are competent governments, and there are incompetent governments. Sometimes incompetent governments are way more functional than ordinary people. Don’t bet that the people in power are going to absolutely lose control. Instead, bet that there is a lot more competence in government than appears to the eye. And if you’re wrong, so what? That just means you have more power than the government. So, you see, it is somewhat unrealistic to think the government is incompetent, because that is betting that it works like an individual. What the government should know is that some paradigms are fabricated from pure ideas, and if it doesn’t take advantage of that, then it will continue to be manipulated by exceptional geniuses. Think about it—if ‘exceptional genius’ means absolutely it can manipulate the government no matter what, that seems to suggest that the government doesn’t have good ideas, which in turn means that the government does not have a good paradigm. But there are a lot of people who don’t want the government to have a bad paradigm. And so, it seems imperative for a competent government to make use of pure ideas. GRADES Basically, life will start sooner if you don’t get an ‘A’, but if you get a lot of A’s you will find it easier to make money. However, you aren’t guaranteed to make a lot of money no matter what grade you get, unless, in a relative sense, all your grades are good. One might learn from typifying lives that go certain ways. A guy who is muscular, gets Cs and Fs and has auto mechanics skills might make a lot of money as an auto mechanic and then get involved with drugs or spend time in jail. Someone who makes C’s in high school might spend too much time playing computer games, or might end up moving to see relatives out of state. Someone who gets A’s in high school will probably go to a community college and will have no major life events until they are partway through college. There are probably exceptions, but some of them are unappreciated gifts or things that people just expected to happen for complicated reasons. In short, people get certain grades because it conforms to their life, or if not, they begin to conform to their grades. HALTING PROGRAM, WHST COULD WE DO WITH Apply code basically is what I heard someone say. HAVING EVERYTHING What people mean is they have everything they need. HIPPIES They're STILL conservative, and their children take hard drugs… doesn't work. External perspective: Rumor is mental power is what remained of it, however there may not even be that all the time. Humans may have been overly taxed. There is still potentially good times if your mind is a bit transcendent. And, if you have a lot of money or live in a rich neighborhood, preferably in a city, things can look good. Some go in for drugs, but that is known to have harmful consequences in the long-term. Some say drugs are required for sex but that begs the money question. The even more external perspective is like an internal perspective, that one can use first impressions to preserve one's good feelings if they happen to be good. Then one can remember good places as good, and collect good places. Imagination is more privileged than knowledge is one perspective. In our current time, that is, hence the focus on drugs. HISTORY Historians are largely ignorant of what really happened. Most of them do not interview the conquerors. They do not know what their personal lives are like. There are three primary elements missing: humanity, sex, and genius. Also keep in mind that the things that are hard to prove are more likely to go unreported. So there are more people with rampant fetishes, more people with dark secrets, more basic truths that aren’t commonly known, more exceptional ability that hardly anyone believes. The way history is reported does not change the facts of history, however they may be construed. History does not disprove magic, nor does it say that fools are fools. It is entirely possible that the most meaningful figures of history have never been noticed, and even more likely that the correct picture or associative network has never been painted. History as we know it makes very few explanations, and so when we study history we are making unwitting commitments to the thoughtlessness of historical interpretation. When we study history, we do not currently study the thoughts of the people within the history, and so we are necessarily not being intellectual about history. But if we are not intellectual about history, there is nothing intellectual we will understand about history, and so we will understand none of the interesting implications. History is actually far more personal, and far more easily created, than most people believe. The fundamental difference in historical thought is the difference between the creative person and the conformist, the person who wants to make history, and the person committed to avoiding it. Everyone who has ever become famous has at one time committed to a statement that was not yet completely true, just to throw themselves forward into the limelight. However, there are many self-fulfilling prophecies, and it is one of the basic methods of history-making. This is the same as saying that everyone who is historically important believes in themselves. Everyone who makes history sees the dark side of egoism, and knows that they have to cheat. Everyone who makes history knows that they have to be imperfect to make the cut. Everyone who succeeds is compromised, subtly or not, for those things for which they seek advantage. Thus, the deaths of the famous are always contracts with the weaknesses of their historical argument. Nonetheless, history has more elemental freaks than the books will admit. Most good ideas probably came from people who were unable to make an important case for fame. There are famous geniuses who depend on towering ideas from insignificant figures they happened to know. Sometimes geniuses are partly just those that can exaggerate the ideas around them. However, some of these insignificant figures are actually elemental freaks. And sometimes elemental freaks actually become geniuses. This is my theory of how real genius is made: not through a successful job or a popular performance, but through a kind of contortionist adaptation combined with alien-ness. And history itself is no less weird is another strange moral to know. (HTTP) HYPERTEXT TRANSFER TEXT PROTOCOL, ON ABANDONING I think it was meant to be ’functional legacy' from the bottom up. There will be better syntax, but there is too much risk to abandon “HTTP”. HUMAN BATTERIES You would not feel athletic, keep that in mind. And always be cautious about metaphysical technologies, they may already be applied. HUMAN CONDITION It’s what impresses people: to lie and be stupid, and then not to be stupid and not to lie. HUMAN IMPORTANCE FOR THE UNIVERSE? The universe has no sense of ‘importance' positive or negative. It has no conscience. It is more innocent than a baby. HUMANITY GOING IN GOOD DIRECTIONS? There are four right answers to this question: * What makes you feel better psychologically. * What gives you hope about the human condition. * What gives you practical advice you will actually use. And, * What terrifies you as to prevent some type of human-caused disaster. HUMANITY, WAY TO MAKE MOST INTERESTING OBSERVATION ABOUT You really love your office, then you take drugs. —What is the most interesting observation you can make while watching other human beings? HYPE What if people from 500 years ago came back from the dead? The point is they don’t, or they would do fine. Like most hype, it doesn’t have much substance. HYPOTHESES, TRUE It means its relatively true within its chosen assumptions compared to its chosen competition. Unless you just mean within geometry or cosmology or by trusting experts. Hence talk about rigorousness IDEAS Hard to make it as an artist. A lot of it is philosophy or philosophy disguised as something else. IMMORTAL HUMANS: WOULD KNOWLEDGE COME TO A HALT? No, people act younger and more creative the longer they are alive, relative to the number of years. IMMORTALITY, HOW TO ACHIEVE? If Male God (need power and a woman, but they have to become a devil): * First sword: Power. * Second sword: Money. If Woman (need a God and a child, but they have to become a goddess): * Second sword: Money. * Third sword: Paradise If a Child (need a Goddess and a woman, but they have to remain a child): * Third sword: Paradise * Treasure Egg: Cornucopia. If a Goddess (need a man and a child, but they have to become the universe): * Treasure Egg: Cornucopia. * Treasure Bird: Omnipotence. If a man (need a way and a goddess, but they have to become a god): * Treasure Bird: Omnipotence. * Immortality Mechanisms. IMMORTALITY, IS IT EVEN THAT GOOD? Being immortal is the baseline potential that no one seems to achieve. INCOHERENT STATEMENTS, ARE THEY TRUE? Well, it can be true as a contingent technique, or situational response. That is, it can get a certain effect or guide precision of some kind. But it continues to have some degree of ‘blindness’ in regards to the universal, and in regards to FINDING truth. —Can an objectively incoherent statement be true? INFINITE MICRO AND MACRO It is not so much that it can't [go that far] as that structures of a certain scale obey certain properties. INNER BEAUTY Part of me says as far as superficial ambitious people inner beauty and outer beauty are related. A lot of ambitious people know they’d do better with more character because they’d seem more like a human being or even superhuman being, so their beautiful face just translates as a burning feeling a feeling of being plain and faceless. Since their inner world only concerns how to be great, intuitive, or genius or find out how to have the perfect life, there’s nothing especially wrong with their inner world except that it is superficial and selfish. They don’t need ugliness to compensate because it’s clear that ambition and selfishness are not the whole picture. JOBS, ENGINEERING For the absolute average engineer (that is, rounding down), they should try to be a scientist just to have better job options, or they should work on their own personal product and try to sell it to a company, but opportunities like that are drying up. KARDASHEV 1000 It would look like the universe. Some wisdom and imagination required. KNOWLEDGE True knowledge is for philosophers. Everyone with true knowledge has reacted to philosophy. If one is not philosophical, then one will fail in some way (stupidity, disease, addiction, death), because one will be unconcerned for the nature of things, and being unconcerned one will always fail. Only philosophers know how to live the best life. If this is untrue, then you will need a better theory, or some arrangement that works without a theory. There are several reasons the alternatives are not best: 1. Without a theory it is hard to think, and if one doesn’t think one is guaranteed to make mistakes, 2. If one has a better theory, one will need to study philosophy first or else be the wisest man or woman, and in these cases one is already a philosopher. So, the alternative to philosophy is foolishness, unless one is a god. I would rather bet I’m a philosopher than bet I am God or a fool. There may be intermediate steps, but if something is determined it better be determined wisely, and if one is free one had better have the ability to make selections which require theories about what exists and what sorts of ideas we should choose, therefore philosophy is always useful and we should not bet on the alternatives. KNOWLEDGE: CAN I ACHIEVE WHATEVER I WANT WITH IT? You won’t necessarily be able to cure your headache or fall in love, but you can be just about as practical and abstract as you want. That’s my impression, anyway. LANGUAGES AND ACCENTS: Most accents are real. Accents don't mean anything except being acclimated to a different locality. Languages are something serious, but knowing many languages is basically a sign of intelligence. LANGUAGES, USEFULNESS The importance of being knowledgeable in a specific language is that it can grant one membership in a particular citizenship, and ‘realm’. Although, it is likely this is not always wise. LAW A possibility is that the Roman laws were kept secret because they granted more and more privilege the more you knew about them. The same might be true today. LIFE Treasure it, value it. If you do not care for yourself and seek the best for yourself you will find yourself in embarrassing and difficult situations that are sometimes hard to dig out of. Simply by having concern for your life, you elevate yourself above much of the harsh misfortune in life. It is like being lucky, but you may learn that gradually over time you have a choice to tend or neglect your small space on the earth. And gradually, over time, your place may become more significant and familiar, and give you the feeling of work well spent. If you do not pay respect to opportunities by taking advantage of them, there are many benefits and advantages which you will not be allowed to experience. So, treasure your life, and gradually compose yourself so that you have dignity, so that when good things come you are prepared to use them to find the object of your quest, or to find the perspective which was impossible in all the morass. LIFE EXPERIENCE People who go to arts schools or get scientific training get certain attitudes, but then if life is too tough their circumstances can still change. LSD (I don't take LSD) It makes people think you're psychic when basically you're not. If you were psychic, you already would be. Also, it can make you commit suicide. MARKETING IDEAS Try everything: Quora, facebook, youtube, twitter, blogspot, pinterest, perhaps personal website (becoming less relevant) otherwise you won’t have an edge on other people who try everything. MARRIAGE Not everyone gets married ever in their life. Some people are ugly or have less fun. If you get married, make the most of it. People usually have reasons to get married. Try to understand the reasons you got married MATH Math doesn’t have to hurt. By the time you know this, you will probably know some math. (IF) MATH = EVERYTHING, DOES MY EXISTENCE HAVE A MATHEMATICAL EQUATION? No, math is incoherent which means it doesn’t describe everything. THE MATRIX If you mean, Does the movie the matrix accurately represent reality, the answer is NO. MONEY, HOW DID IT CHANGE THE WORLD? Originally, it helped create the (Chinese) gods. MORE KNOWLEDGE OR IGNORANCE? We want more knowledge regardless of how much ignorance we have. “Regardless of how many years you've been investing, the one constant is that there's always more to learn.” —Sean Williams “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." —Ben Franklin MULTIVERSE THEORY: For one thing, each ‘loop’ in time requires one time-travel event (each). Secondly, unless there is a further time-travel event, you will travel to the future normally after the time-travel. The only question then, is whether the future branches. In my experience as a time-traveler, the future does not branch. Instead, if there are multiple time-travelers, then they all exist whenever they exist, without any branches. This might be called the ‘One World Hypothesis’. However, since I cannot know everything about what materially happens, it may be that sometimes it does branch (hypothetically, at least), in which case there would literally be multiple worlds and possibly universes, each physically separate and distinct. It's the same as the probability that we travel to worlds with different origins that look the same. Extremely unlikely, but maybe within the ability of a god. MYTHS, ARE THEY MEANINGFUL? Historical genius can have meaning even if the original events did not really occur. In that sense at least, YES. NAMING MACHINE PARTS: It can follow from theory or it can follow from function. NATURE, HOW DOES NATURE COME UP WITH IDEAS? It didn’t, such it is with the vastness of outer space. Or, it didn’t claim credit. Or, it cheated. Or, ideas are a human concern. NEXT REALITY, HOW CLOSE ARE WE? The dimensions of change seem to be dimensional, personal, and social, in that order.That is some of the best advice I can offer. NUTRITION Avoid diet soda, Wndrbred, food dye (such as colored lollypops), and other artificial ingredients. The substances put in this kind of food can make it much easier to gain weight, in effect ruining your chances of being healthy when you’re older if you eat them repeatedly. This is actually more important than eating carbs, or fruits and vegetables, or healthy kinds of meat, as it is a serious problem in the U.S. that people will eat candy and artificial ingredients instead of anything even mildly more healthy. The first step in recovering your health is to avoid the worst products. The next step, of avoiding slightly bad products, is less important at first. The way I changed my health for the better is 1. I avoided diet soda, Wndrbread, and stopped eating colored candy, 2. I went vegetarian for one year, 3. I stopped eating bread from Sbway and stopped drinking sodas, 4. Perhaps less importantly, I started dieting and eating fruits and nuts. OBJECTIVITY AND SUBJECTIVITY I suppose without pain, but with experience, or with a soul and also truth, is one way to maximize either. ORGANIC FOOD Winter greens are the single best thing to buy, but they contain maggots. PARADOX, WHAT IS THE POINT OF A? 1. In the case of a paradox, to be a problem. 2. In the case of a paradoxical paradox, to be a solution. PERFECT HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS When you are about to be tricked. Just an attempt at a guess. PERFECT ROOM, DOES IT EXIST? In a way, yes. But it is a bit expensive, and it depends on wisdom or whatever great secret we have. Alternately, no, and babies are tougher. PHILOSOPHICAL EMOTIONS Virtually all philosophers have un-expressive faces. It is because they are adapted to express emotions internally rather than externally. It is called thinking. External emotion is simply acting, which has little to do with internal emotion, which is thinking. PHILOSOPHY AND FEMINISM At least that’s what seems to keep happening, that females don’t really love philosophy because it involves warlike disagreeable behavior or even brain-damaged people who want to be struck with lightning. PHILOSOPHY IN LIGHT OF SCIENCE Philosophy in general is kind of a loophole in politics opened by Socrates and the perpetuation of the Greeks, but it is no less interesting for that reason. —My Dad’s interpretation As Dinko, the Salutatorian of my high school class said, “philosophy is just a discipline”. PHILOSOPHY AND POLITICAL POWER In some more violence-prone countries rightest perspectives are sometimes taken up by violent people and turn to violence, but that’s more like political philosophy than logic or metaphysics. Logicians and metaphysicians don’t tend to shout at crowds at all, because it makes them feel weak. Their power is their individualism and their place in ideas, not politics. Politics looks weak and pointless. Crowds just make people more vulnerable. POPULARITY Popularity is a defense mechanism. There are several reasons to use the mechanism: 1. If someone is slow-thinking it will help them perform ordinary activities, 2. If a little more clever, it may be possible to negotiate for rewards with members of the group, 3. Someone may be offering a service in exchange for respect or resources, and 4. Someone may be attempting to control the crowd for an outside benefit. POVERTY AND INTELLIGENCE So, the only ones who will seem smart among the poor are those good at logic (who want to go crazy) or who know about people (who want to think things are good the way they are). PSYCHIC MATERIALISM The only thing to fear is fear itself. What you are scared of will likely come to pass, unless you stop being afraid. This is especially true subjectively. QUANTUM MECHANICS AND ETERNAL RETURN The opposite of unified randomness will be a determined singularity. Eternal return requires time-travel but not everyone is a time-traveler, nor will life be determined the same way after it has already been determined, as the quantum state will be different but not opposite. READING English is a language. Languages are composed of words, words are composed of ideas, and ideas can have meaning. Meaning matters. Also, you should not read so fast that you don’t understand anything of what you’re reading. If you are forgetful, then read for pleasure, and try to remember the important parts. REPRODUCTION ON MARS Until you set it up as a pleasure planet or a planet where reproduction is handled by robots, it is unlikely reproduction will work. Otherwise, it needs a whole consumer economy or at least comfortable accommodations if you want normal reproduction. If the climate is too hot or too cold babies will feel like they need to be heroes just to survive, and the more average babies will end up dying cutting into the reproductive rate. SCHIZOID PERSONALITY They’re something like schizophrenics with more religious education, as I gather. They’re also more like grammar nazis than schizophrenics. I guess one way to see it is schizoids are less materially aware/dependent, or otherwise highly enlightened people. SHWINNER SCHOOL School goes on and on. Although you should try to succeed, you should not always live just for the future. Planning for the future is a great strategy, but it may sometimes help to put more effort into the day-to-day, particularly if your concept of future is imaginary. SCIENCE, BROADLY SPEAKING The broader answer is that philosophy is more general than science, and so, in theory, makes more general claims. And so, in theory, can trump any form of science. In other words, science (at least as separate from Omni-Science) is and will always be specialized knowledge, meaning that in technical philosophical jargon it is ‘incoherent’, limited, finite, and never fully descriptive. The meaning of this is that to a clever mind there will always be faster routes to knowledge than through science. However, science is a slow-moving tank, that like many kinds of formal incoherence (such as how to make things, or how to manipulate people), has advantages when it comes to specific performance if you are an expert. Maybe philosophy has all the best formulas for knowledge (if it is concerned with knowledge), however science can make that knowledge perform through computerization and mathematical notation. However, if there is a science of wisdom it will be the wisdom of science, which to a philosopher looks like an egregious compromise, since we admit science concerns specialization. It is true however, that where a specific discipline or even several cross-disciplines become technicalized, science will likely hold the key to unifying them through the understanding of the technical aspects of each domain. But to do this without reference to general formulas from philosophy runs the risks of isolating any such system or combination of systems from the ultimate direction and evolution of technicalism. Therefore, if philosophy is generalism and science is technicalism, there is certainly mutual benefit in both where both are concerned. Being exclusively technical will always miss the big picture, and being exclusively general will always miss the exact specifics of implementation. One radical way to view this is that both science and philosophy are branches of an ‘intermediate category’ called interface, and so science and philosophy are really ancient words for specific and general interfaces. Any hurdle to overcoming this idea probably involves the assumption that objects do not consist of experiences, which is a paradigm that will eventually be out-moded at least as far as the concept of objects. SCIENCE, NARROWLY SPEAKING Also written as 'Beauty 42′ or 'Relation to the Center 42′, Beau 42 is a formula designed to describe all of science. On a simple level, it simply says that all of the active factors in life and existence, as far as science goes, have a quantity and value of 42, once science is added in. In practice, what it can mean is that significant things have a number less than 42, and insignificant things have a number greater than 42. But this is only in terms of science. Some significant discoveries preceded Beau 42, including the discovery of the Higgs Boson, chemical, quantum, nuclear, ecological, and other theories. Beau 42 simply says that science has a value of 42 and it is not likely to move. It is similar to saying the following: * Science is a qualified meaning of life. * We should accept both simplicity and complexity, and the value is non-arbitrary. * Life is singular like the number one, but it is also extended like 2 X 3 X 7. * Life is about squares (4 sides), but it is also about lines (2-d). * A wise person could have a better idea than science. * Life is like a pentagon dancing within a larger square. SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTION A polymath was very often noble, or wanted to be noble. But once science arrived, they no longer wanted to be noble, they wanted to be like Leibniz. SEXY INTELLECTUALS Yes, why not? But when people say things like flashy or sexy they usually mean over the top like photos in porn magazines. Some might find it is not worth their time to risk embarrassment just for money. Some intellectuals might be 24/7 mountainclimbers, but they might not be known for their intellect. Why not get a family photo instead? Questions are raised. SIMULATION HYPOTHESIS, DISPROOF No, because most things express as data, which we can view with a screen. SMELL, HOW DO ANIMALS LIKE DOGS DETECT UNIQUE BODY ODORS? I have heard it is because they have very good smell and they guess. SMOKING For the record, I do not smoke a pipe, nor do I recommend it. I am not a smoker in general, and good thing. SPORTS Sports is not important to everyone. It is possible to be deceived that sports are really important, when in fact there are many life strategies that do not involve sports at all. STYLE OF PHILOSOPHY The style of philosophy if roughly semantics. Although it could also be other things like art, drugs, and relationships. SUN The sun is the intermediate mystery that binds us to the outer mystery. Without the sun we would be formless and completely transigent. The sun gives us hope of immortality. SURVIVAL OF HUMANS As long as we don’t drink coffee and aren’t assassinated we’re fine. THEORIES, SO PEOPLE HOLD THEM IF THEY ARE RIDICULOUS? Theories that aren’t theories is not a thing, no matter what standard you adopt. The standard may vary quite a lot, but if you consider your own theory ridiculous you will reject it and it will no longer BE a theory. THOUGHTS Sometimes they are pleasures, sometimes they are painful informations, sometimes they are pleasurable informations, sometimes they are painful pleasures. TIME Time is a tough mommy. Not by the traditional standards that exist now, but maybe by earlier standards. A surprising amount of sensory information might be 'virtual’. The alternate theory is only God is real. WAR AND ECONOMICS Basically peace is progress if you’re economically dominant. In a communism it’s ambiguous, because you might not always benefit economically. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ASSUMPTIONS AND INFERENCES? Basically, assumptions structure axiological sysyems, and inferencrs are predictions made by the entire system. Inferences aim at being useful results, while assumptions aim at being a viable system at all. Instead of seeing assumptions as infinitely valuable, we would see a system as fulfilling a 'category of functionality’ or not. Inferences on the other hand depend on data and how the data is used, which can be post-assumptions. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PHYSICAL, THE METAPHYSICAL, THE SPIRITUAL, AND THE SYMBOLIC? Life is physical but immaterial, knowledge is metaphysical but transcendental, learning is spiritual but purposeful, and tools are symbolic but ordinary-like. You’ll find a lot of the answers supposedly offered by the universe are fake, because the universe doesn’t answer questions. It’s human genius to find so much as a number line. WHY NOT? How so, if, and when for what? WISDOM Sometimes you might want to ask, “Okay, I’ve figure out X, Y, or Z but is that what the old philosopher means? The only thing worth dying for is your best possible option, if your best possible option involves dying.   • It’s someone throwaway usually, just a random person. You think they’re as good as that guy you talked to. But the first guy usually has something wrong, because it wasn’t the New Riu. And this guy is worse.
  • You struggle with it and it’s just bad advice but you work harder and think it’s that helpful.
  • It’s not helpful but now you’re rich or worked on something so it seems ‘cool’.
  • Possibly you want to cure a headache. Like a monster is eating you. That would be an earlier guy. A little earlier. Not the earliest. The earliest bed of nails absolutely something along those lines. His dad may have been a military sergeant.

WISE ADVICE

  • Someone is your friend, they keep you in conversation like you’re their play toy.
  • They are fun and interesting, though it seems too much like just smoke and mirrors.
  • You realize you’re losing the conversation, and you need to try other things.
  • Move on is about what you know.
  • If you say emotional knowledge you can see through maybe they are just feeding on you.

PREDICTION

  • The person has to be paid real money. You sort of shout at yourself, that the guy just asked for too much money. Your anger almost boils over.
  • The guy gives you useless advice and then convinces you there’s something maybe you should maybe do.

THE ETHICIST

  • The ethicist wants to talk for a long time. Maybe about therapy.
  • They might exchange money but they think it doesn’t do any good.
  • They convince you there’s something interesting.
  • It’s a puzzle you should ‘discuss’ with them. They keep mentioning words concerning strength and persistence. They think you’re a hard case.
  • If you’re wise you realize they’re dropping vocab kind of dropping pills and possibly they assume too much about human weakness.
    • 1: Someone could shape up if they hurt themselves. I noticed that.
    • 2: Possibly. A dictator.
    • 3: They have a handful of theories when they’re ethicists. They think that’s going to work. It could be, though sounds emotional to me. I’m not that emotional. They’re possibly on drugs. Drug dealers who think I need a free vacation.
    • 4: Guy’s desperate for money thinks it’s tit-for-tat. No, not even in wisdom. He’s possibly better at self-help and a little pushy for my time, like he wants me to try crossdressing. Creepy.
    • 5: I think he was a drug addict. I never saw him again. I would cry I think he was really reaching out for help. He was over-budgeted damn close call. They thought he was rich was like sacro-sacro-I don’t know with some pleasant smelling doodoo on top. He kind of went for mayonnaise or I might have gone the other way. He was real tricky is the thing. It was too double-tricky like he was looking for life that had no answer. It was something like that. That was his soul something like that. Never a natural devil was so innocent and pure. In his case I love the evil but I know evil is hopeless. It’s like when I have a makarov. It’s not good stuff but it makes me cry. Those scenes in books when it all falls over. He made me like a cruel actress like no one else. He got the beauty wrong, I don’t know why. He was almost straight, I wanted him to be straight.
