The term doesn’t tell you for what duration, so it isn’t really a useful term. What most people mean by un-killability is either invulnerability or immortality. With invulnerability you don’t take any kind of significant damage. It is hard to scratch you. In the best cases, even if you jump off a building or are shot by a gun you don’t take any permanent damage. You survive the fall without breaking bones, or the gun gets jammed. It’s like being very lucky and un-killable. Except it’s possible you might still age with invulnerability, because it is mainly protecting against bodily injury. However, it is likely if you continue to wear the protection you would probably live an average long time, until you slip in the shower or decide you are ready to die. If you wear invulnerability you can also be very long-lived if everyone else around you is immortal.
Indestructibleness is also mostly synonymous with invulnerability. It can mean invulnerability in a high degree. Though people say it’s possible you would still have a backache or a headache. In reality such powers can be very extreme, they’re just not widely known, and may have a lot of side benefits. However, a decent item of invulnerability would probably provide psychological protection against the same things that indestructibleness prevents. However, it is also possible invulnerability would not protect against species-level extinctions, like if your whole race dies, or if the world is about to end. In those cases, indestructibleness would make you immune from the same damages other people in your species or planet might be receiving. However, indestructibleness is usually not very likely to work unless you have a lot of very long-term planning skills. Sometimes it is just used as a war or politics ability, in temporary increments. In many cases for war or politics though, invulnerability can be just as good, as it is less likely someone will be interested in capturing invulnerability since it sounds like an ordinary soldier’s ability. It is also much more likely there is more than one item for invulnerability than indestructibleness.
A lot of the things that are assumed indestructible like diamonds and cannonballs are not really magically protected just really hard and dead, though it is possible they may still have souls. One perspective is that souls and nothingness are the main indestructible things. But having more souls or being made of nothingness does not always protect you from separation or increase or decrease of consciousness. So, in most cases invulnerability is treated as the same thing most of the time. Often indestructibleness is summoned temporarily or with a lot of energy to help protect something like a perfect planet or a perfect God. Usually the only grey area for indestructibleness is if something is relatively perfect but maybe not absolutely perfect. Then someone might discover immortality or get paid off, etc. In recent times very high immunity is sometimes equated with being indestructible, though with a high level of risk.
Now we get to immortality. Immortality has some things in common with invulnerability. It is similarly thought to be highly lucky, and may be a later development of the same ability, though with some differences. With immortality the latest rumor is that someone can take damage but will always be paid back if they take damage. They can potentially gain satanically by taking damage, and their abilities and security will often increase over time. Immortality is a powerful ability, more powerful than invulnerability, because it seems to rely on a kind of limitless potential to help someone forever. There were many guesses on how to reach immortality without making grave sacrifices. Some of this was recorded in books such as Jekyll and Hyde and Mithradotes. There was also an Eastern Herb discovered by the Chinese inventor of longevity, Zheng Guo, called Jiaogulan which is rumored to help somewhat, though there is not a lot of research yet. Some similar abilities also discovered around the same time are mechanical perpetual motion machines, omniscient knowledge for computers, some types of silent incantation, and some interrelated powers such as in very rare cases destruction, magical time-travel, teleportation, telekinesis, and psychic powers. Virtually all of the abilities have been mapped onto a theory of everything interrelated with the method of omniscient knowledge for computers. Still, not all of the properties are easy to create reliably without very careful crafting.

JEKYLL WAS A PERFECT DRUG, BUT AT SOME POINT I KNEW DRUGS WERE NOT THE ANSWER AND THEY NEVER WOULD BE. NO DRUG GRANTS IMMORTALITY, BECAUSE IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THAT QUEST, JUST LIKE THE QUEST FOR THE SILVER CUP WAS PROBABLY A POOR MAN WHO NEEDED A SILVER CUP.
