I sold my 200th book of the year!

Counting e-books, but still, this is the first year I've sold 200 books.

That means I've earned between $70 and $1000 this year, over the whole year. Still below taxable range.

I've published about 83 books, so in rough estimate I'm only earning about $1.50 per book per year. But some don't sell at all.

Found the highest Amazon rank I've attained so far...

June 13, 2014 I was 39,950 th in text book sales on Amazon.

That's about a 400th of the Top 100 Authors.

Buying gift cards with the intend of buying Nathan Coppedge books is a good idea, because I produce books every year on interesting subjects (there are already over 70 titles to choose from!)

Predicting 42 - 70 Sales in the Rest of the Year

Since I currently have 136 sales for the year, I can predict that I'll sell a total of 178 to 206 books by the end of the year, only slightly ahead of last year. But it may be $26 - $104 ahead in real profits.

ART SALES TO DATE...

It hadn't occurred to me, but I recently added up my total art sales (e.g. since around 2002), and the result is that I learned that I've earned over $1500 minus expenses!

Most of these sales were in the $50 - $120 range, but nonetheless, I'm sort of impressed with myself!

Maybe I can be an artist afterall!

So far my highest selling piece (I think) is to Klaus Lehr in London, for $400. Don't worry, Klaus Lehr, I've sold others for $200 - $300! And remember, yours looks like a Picasso...
