I sold my 200th book of the year!

Counting e-books, but still, this is the first year I've sold 200 books.

That means I've earned between $70 and $1000 this year, over the whole year. Still below taxable range.

I've published about 83 books, so in rough estimate I'm only earning about $1.50 per book per year. But some don't sell at all.

12 days until 1 year above 400,000th author!

My success as an author is improving in the past 2 years, during which I published about 61 books.

(This really just means I tend to sell more than one book every week, counting e-books).

I'm averaging about 1 book sold every four days this month. September tends to be a slow month so far. Academic audiences such as students and libraries tend to buy in October, or to wait until the holidays.
