VARIATION OF THE TORTOISE AND ACHILLES WITH THE INVENTOR OF PERPETUAL MOTION
Let's say the inventor is supposed to receive a patent for perpetual motion at some point.
But it is argued that time is infinitely divisible.
Therefore, so long as time remains, an infinite amount of time remains!
Apparently, the inventor will never receive the patent!
The only way to become a millionaire is to sell chunks of infinite time!
Whoever can do something with the time probably has to buy it!
What a waste!
Instead, we could grant the patent immediately and have free energy, and free money!

Perpetual Motion Press Dilemma
More important for someone (amongst anyone) to build it, than to get press...

More important to get press than for one specific individual to build it (unless there's only one)...

More important for one specific individual to build it than to broadcast your average White House Press Conference...

The existence of your average White House Press Conference is much more important than going to nuclear war...
By this argument, there's something very real about perpetual motion!
Or do you not see clearly?
