LATEST:
- The US government is ‘jenius’. It’s probably about color theory. The greatest green is gold.
Sometimes I think Roger U is Machiavelli:
- Roger Uilein, who wanted to be a policy wonk, noted years ago that 'they may roll back the U.S. government somewhat, but they will never think of rolling back the State Governments. This suggests that they will not roll back federal government either.' #reliefprograms #Nation #StateGovernments #USGovernment #USA
- “Only the rich, or the Chinese if the superpower formula is subverted. The other option is if we regress into British naval power, but they are an ally of the U.S. so it would be about the same as what we have now.” —Roger Uilein
- “About every 48 years a miracle occurs.” —Roger U. [Nathan Coppedge was the recent miracle, as otherwise recently it was lacking].
- Roger U said they made a mistake with wireless, it’s just a standalone technology, it doesn’t combine into anything, it might be the end of our age, because the logic doesn’t continue.
- “Chinese can’t buy us out because they are communist. I don’t know what we are going to do. The Chinese are basically mountains and a lot of people and a little modern technology.” —Roger Uilein, circa 2011.
- Maybe India should get military advice from China.
- “UK has nothing better to do than push the pound against the dollar.” —Roger Uilein, 2005
- William Tell invented the word ‘wind-ows’ to scare other Englishmen from sleeping with his wife’s corpse since she had been murdered probably by Pippin or William. Someone lied.
A really good ‘stratergy’. They are usually pre-occupied.
BARE GOLD POLITICAL STRATEGY:
Picture for example, Marie Antoinette, or Zheng Guo.
It seems like traditionally I always have the best ideas, but I don’t always understand politics.
But if they oppose the most brilliant ideas, that’s bad luck.
Bad luck would not be good.
So, brilliant politics is intellectual, or dark age, or… [fill in the blank geniuses or you may have a dark age, or you may have to be intellectual, or it is not a political system. Is it obvious that politics isn’t brilliant is a question to ask. And what is the corollary of that? Do you think politicians are just people with heart problems? Motley fools? Meaningless debutantes? Dark age generals? Geniuses? Or instead intellectuals? Machiavellians?].
Scheems.
Strategy: It’s so true that strategy trumps most of life. Strategy and intelligence, and knowledge. Why did you say ‘strategy’ twice?

I identify with this somewhat. I had someone like this in elementary school who was constantly fantasizing about the Witch and the Cauldron series, and he seemed extremely smart, but was always seemingly lost in a manipulative fantasy… I think sometimes the fantasy becomes the reality, and sometimes the illusion turns out not to be true, and they themselves become deceived within someone else’s illusion. However, sometimes the secondary illusion is functional, and sometimes the original illusion is more functional than reality. Or perhaps they really do understand more than anyone.
Strategy 1: Have power.
- Build power.
- Build alliances.
- Test power.
- Exercise power.
Strategy 2: Assert power.
- Align information.
- Deploy information.
- Use information.
- Strategic move.
Strategy 3: Assert influence.
- Diplomacy.
- Bribes.
- Saber-rattling.
- Show of force.
Strategy 4: Deploy resources.
- Spies.
- Buy equipment.
- Sell land.
- Offer services.
Basically he lived in the age of mercantilism in which asserting influence and engaging in intrigue might have respectable benefits for political leaders if they had enough intelligence to make use of it. He was basically flashing the intelligence card like a money card at a time when real expertise was not taken for granted by those with the most power.
It was like a transition between the time of using ships to transport armies, and using ships to fire cannons. Much of politics was still about who paid the army, because it wasn’t about conscripting the poor to work the cannons. Soldiers still had to be well-trained and often pay for their own equipment, hence pay was a big issue, and money politics involving big complicated negotiations were the norm.

Dear Dad,
I was thinking about perpetual motion as usual when I found this possible pattern with marketing and industry:
Real Efficiency
- Exchangeable parts / industrialism
- Assembly line production / modernism
- Mass production / automation
- Modular production / robots
Digital Efficiency
- News media / social anxiety
- Mass media / social provocation
- Web products / virtual reality
- Media products / cybernetics
Exponential Efficiency
- Partial over-unity / (primitive) demonstrations
- Full cycle / (intellectual) revolutions
- Real products / strong institutions
- Big products / weak governments
--What kind of strategy are we going to do to extend the life of products?
I know you think about a lot of stuff I was wondering what you think about black swans eventually creating weak governments in light of the above pattern?
Is there any truth to this? Am I just wacko?
In other news Spanish class seems to be going okay so with luck I may graduate within four years from now, though it may be possible they will block me for not having sufficient immunizations since my high school lost my records.

CONNECTION TO THE INVENTION OF SINGING:
THE INVENTION OF SINGING
I believe it was the first Wu emperor trying to make up with his main wife.
He instructed women to ‘scream’ for her. And it sounded more like ‘scheming for her’. Then, he said something like ‘get on with your scheming. Scheme all the time. This palace could use some grand schemes.’

MACHIAVELLIAN STYLES
I would like to say greatness is probably the biggest motivator traditionally for actual progress. Some of the others such as daily needs are also a factor… In Africa and Asia groupthink and conspiracy (Machiavellianism and individual plots) may be bigger factors than some of the things I already mentioned. Sometimes this is translated as self-possession, entitlement, or just evil, or sometimes being very good to others. —From your perspective, what is the most influential driving force of human history, the most prominent reason that societies expand, fall, and progress?

WHAT IS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT EVENT IN HUMAN HISTORY?
- On the one hand, you might think that the recording of the marriage between Empress Federova and her husband was significant, becuase of the number of men inspired by her beauty.
- On the other hand, you might think Nathan Coppedge’s time-traveling to meet Stephen Hawking which resulted in communicating the Theory of Everything might be significant, because without that event there might be no Theory of Everything, and therefore an end to human research, then human science, then human civilization.
- On the other hand, you might think that Zheng Guo’s bargain with the dragons that saved humanity from extinction by dragon-fire was significant, which would have been around 9000 BCE, or the supposed extermination of dragons by dragon-hunters around that time. However, around that time Guo was invisible, which is a sign of omnipotent power, which suggests the dragons were really reacting to Guo.

Advice to Rumi: How to Learn Impossible Topics?
A lot of topics are identical.
Some of the best things can be learned with ACBD. Where AC is an opposite pair, and BD is an opposite pair.
Trickery and shamanship is usually about pressures or involves unusual advantages, relative experience, or sometimes ignorant evil.
The best things rarely compare to one another. While kings may become more wise, and the poor may become more talented, success requires insight and sometimes patience.
The tricky are usually being tricked is something to keep in mind. If someone not quick-witted seeks to be tricked, that may be something useful, but if someone very skilled seeks to be tricked it is usually just a sign of something bad going on even if it was someone all-around very good. The tricky person could do an ethical trick marvelously, however, the not quick-witted person could sometimes look trickier while still being in a poor state.
Once it is clear the not-quick-witted person is gambling or trying to trick himself, then maybe everything will get worse for everyone. On the other hand, just by not eating clams or not self-pleasuring, someone might get leagues beyond all of this trouble, though they might then feel unhappy. Maybe it is just because they think unhappiness is fashionable to death.
(I suppose if you were the original Rumi, you would know happiness more than anyone. I am not sure anyone really knows happiness like Rumi).
In some ways happiness is the greatest trick. So, then, we’re both tricky which is pretty interesting.
Maybe what you want to be is the happiest person in the world. However, maybe you have been before, and maybe it isn’t the only aim of life to be tricky.
I suppose you could try being tricky and see if it translates as happiness. It sounds a bit like being a priest or someone who considers others’ opinions.
The further wisdom I can grant on this is that people who are in this state of considering the virtues of trickery are very often wasters of time in the practical scheme of things. You may have a choice between being a practical trickster who isn’t tricky, and being someone who merely wastes time. However, if the situation is paradoxical you may find you waste less time by wasting time, and that practical trickery is actually the only possible trickster. If you are not sure the situation is paradoxical, perhaps you should consider religion as a possible method of tricking yourself in order to gain happiness.
Or perhaps you should consider non-religious relationships as a method of making others happy somehow without becoming too attached to your feelings.

“However, Lanza explained that their cooperation could be secured by the imprisoned mobster Charles ‘Lucky’ Luciano, who still wielded absolute power on the docks even after six years behind bars. With his top aide Meyer Lansky acting as an intermediary, Luciano agreed to assist the government and ordered his capos to act as lookouts and report any suspicious activity. Luciano’s contacts even assisted in the Allies’ 1943 amphibious invasion of Sicily by providing maps of the island’s harbors, photographs of its coastline and names of trusted contacts inside the Sicilian Mafia, who also wished to see Mussolini toppled.” —Onlyme's post in History of World War 2 and its aftermath
