HISTORY OF PERPETUAL MOTION MACHINES FOR RECORDS

BY NATHAN COPPEDGE QUORA ACCOUNT WAS AT RISK OF BEING DELETED, SO I HAD TO TRANSFER SOME MATERIAL
Yes, at least in my work, the pace of discovery has seen huge increases since Sept 2000 - Feb 2016.
PERPETUAL MOTION DISCOVERIES IN PAST 150 YEARS:
NOTE: Feel free to print.
HISTORICAL TIMELINE
I have heard an ethics professor say:
I used to think it means, if you can produce an idea, Plato can produce a god. Now I think it means, if you can produce an opinion, Plato can produce a god. And ultimately, nothing, and Plato produces nearly everything.
However, I haven’t taken this to heart because I have been unable to find evidence that Plato produced perpetual motion machines.
What do you think about the statement “All philosophy since Plato consists of footnotes.” means?
300 - 200 BC Classical Greece: The great Ancient Greek scientist Archimedes writes: “Give me a place to stand, and I shall move the Earth with it” the earliest major known reference to the principle of leverage.
100 BC - 300 AD Classical Rome: Descriptions of the Roman baths refer to Apparatu Erratum, or erratic machines.
100 AD Heron of Alexandria designs Heron's Fountain and early boiling-hot-steam-powered devices.
1070 - 1125: Theophilus Presbyter, first recorded use in writing of using stored momentum mechanically (non-perpetual-non-gyro flywheel was thought useful because of lack of physics knowledge).
1159: Bhaskara II builds his famous dysfunctional wheel.
1230: Villard de Honnecourt's medieval Hammer Wheel.
1494: Leondardo da Vinci expresses frustration over perpetual motion.
1500's Mark Zimara describes a dysfunctional self-powered watermill.
1515: An unknown inventor, possibly an earlier relative of the later Christopher Wren, describes Veulmism, a theory of free energy on a similar principle to drawbridges.
1552: John Dee and Gerolamo Cardano (both listed in Wikipedia) investigate a perpetual motion machine in London, possibly based on draw-bridges or some type of wheel.
1604: Cornelis Drebbel demonstrates an atmospheric clock, dubbing it perpetual motion.
1618: Robert Fludd designs the dysfunctional Archimedean Screw.
1638 - 59: Edward Somerset, Marquis of Worcester designs a double-wheel designed to tilt weights towards one side based on the way they are tied.
1661: George Andreas Bockler suggests the idea of mills run by perpetual motion.
1685: Denis Papin discusses a self-flowing flask named after Robert Boyle.
1717 - 1718: Johann Bessler demonstrates his sealed wheels to scientists and nobility, but refusing to reveal his secret.
1760's: Cox's Timepiece continues the tradition of atmospheric clocks.
1783: Marie Antoinette desires a perpetual motion machine. How Marie Antoinette Became A Perpetual Motion Hero
1812: Charles Redheffer scams audiences with a cogwheel device supposedly powered by vertical wedges.
1818: A Mr. Spence designs a magnet machine apparently designed to deflect protruding magnets using boards attached to the device.
1827: William Congreve designed a device that was supposed to use outside weights to press on water-filled sponges, creating a difference in mass, e.g. if the weights are lighter than the sponges but expel water over time.
1861: Bishop Wilkins describes a dysfunctional magnet device attributed originally to Jean Taisner or Peter de Maricourt.
1870: E.P. Willis of New Haven created a fraudulent device.
1872: John Keely defrauds investors with a device using a hidden power source (pressurized air).

If we assume the Spindle is 1X mass, this device follows the same rules as the first class of devices in spite of the use of a pendulum-like element. Double Seesaw Motive Mass Machine: The inertial resistance from the first seesaw must be << 1/2 of the second mass. Also, the motion of the second mass must be fairly close to horizontal, but never exactly horizontal. Tilt Motor: Table resistance = < 1/2 mass of rolling cone. Natural Torque Device: Assuming added mass of +1 on lever end, the weight of the wheel and the lever should average to the counterweight mass range which begins above the average +1 and ends at double that value - 1. Original Escher Machine: Momentum * Wedge factor = > 1/2 effective mass. During the longer motion the ball must move with net upwards motion. Downwards motion of course is easy. Note: All these five devices gave maxed out values of == <150 conventional="" i="" over-unity.="">
